By submitting an entry, you warrant and confirm that:
(a) You are the sole owner of all content submitted (including all photos, videos, voice-overs and written material), or you have obtained all necessary rights, licences and permissions from the relevant rights holders (including the photographer, videographer, and any identifiable persons appearing in the content) to submit the content and to grant the licence in clause 4.1(d) below;
(b) The content submitted is original, has not been altered in any way that misrepresents the subject matter, and has not been created, generated or materially enhanced using artificial intelligence (AI) tools;

This licence does not affect any rights you may have under applicable data protection law, including the right to request erasure of personal data contained in the content.
If the Sponsor reasonably believes that any submission breaches the warranties in this clause 4.1, the Sponsor may disqualify the entry at its sole discretion.
5. The prize
There is one (1) prize to be awarded to one (1) winner, consisting of:
- $4000 USD in cash (the “Prize”).
Total prize value: $4000 USD.
The Prize will be paid by electronic bank transfer or PayPal to an account nominated by the winner. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other item. The Prize does not include flights, accommodation, travel, food, drink or any other costs. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with cash or items of equivalent value if required by circumstances beyond its control.
Any bank fees, currency conversion costs, customs duties, import taxes or additional fees that may apply in the winner’s country of residence are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners are responsible for determining and meeting any tax obligations arising from receipt of the Prize in their country of residence.
6. Winner selection
Winner selection will take place in two (2) stages:
Stage 1 — Sponsor shortlist. Following the close of the Contest Period, the Sponsor will review all eligible entries and select, at its sole discretion, the top five (5) entries (the “Finalists”) based on creativity, originality, quality of submitted assets, alignment with the spirit of the campaign, and overall merit. The Sponsor’s decision in selecting the Finalists is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
Stage 2 — Public vote. The five (5) Finalists will then be put to a public vote conducted via a poll on the Sponsor’s Instagram Stories on the @quadlock account. The Finalist who receives the highest number of votes at the close of the public voting period will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the Sponsor will select the winner from among the tied Finalists at its sole discretion.
The winner will be announced on or about 7 August 2026. The Sponsor reserves the right to invalidate any votes that it reasonably believes have been obtained through fraudulent or automated means.
7. Notification and prize delivery
The winner will be notified by Instagram direct message and, where available, by email within three (3) business days of the public vote closing. The winner must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification to claim their Prize, providing their full name, postal address, bank account or PayPal details for transfer of the Prize, and any other information reasonably required to fulfil the Prize. If the winner does not respond within this period the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining Finalists in order of public vote ranking.
The winner will be required to provide proof of identity and age before the Prize is awarded. Failure to provide this within fourteen (14) days of notification will result in forfeiture of the Prize.
The Prize will be paid within thirty (30) days of eligibility verification and receipt of valid payment details. The Sponsor is not responsible for delay, loss or error in payment caused by incorrect bank or PayPal details supplied by the winner or by the winner’s banking or payment provider. Any Prize not claimed within three (3) months of the public vote closing reverts to the Sponsor.
8. Liability and force majeure
To the extent permitted by law, the Sponsor is not liable for technical failures of any kind; loss or damage caused by postal, courier or banking services; damage to a participant’s device or data arising from participation; or the cancellation or suspension of the Contest by Instagram for any reason. Nothing in these Rules excludes the Sponsor’s liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by the Sponsor’s negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If the Sponsor is prevented from or delayed in performing any obligation under these Rules by reason of any cause outside its reasonable control — including fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic or public health emergency, strike, industrial action, breakdown of equipment, act of God, terrorism, civil commotion, or any government-imposed restriction — the Sponsor’s obligations will be suspended for the duration of that event. In such circumstances the Sponsor may modify, postpone or cancel the Contest or substitute the Prize with one of equivalent value. No compensation will be payable in such circumstances.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failure or any other factor impairs its integrity. The Sponsor’s decisions in all matters relating to the Contest are final and binding.
9. Disqualification
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who: uses a fictitious or borrowed identity; creates multiple accounts to generate additional entries; uses bots or automated tools to enter or to influence the public vote; submits content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory or infringes third-party rights; submits content that is not their own, that has been altered in a misleading way, or that has been created or materially enhanced using AI tools; or engages in any conduct intended to manipulate the outcome of the Contest or bring the Sponsor or the Contest into disrepute. Disqualification may be referred to relevant authorities where appropriate.
10. Your personal data
By entering this Contest you agree to the Sponsor contacting you if you are selected as a Finalist or winner to discuss the awarding of the Prize. The Sponsor will collect and use your Instagram username, name, email address, country of residence, GPS location data submitted as part of your entry, and (if you win) your postal address, contact number and bank account or PayPal details for the purposes of administering the Contest, selecting and notifying Finalists and the winner, and delivering the Prize. The Sponsor will not sell or distribute your personal information to unrelated third parties except as required for Prize fulfilment or as required by law.
The Sponsor will handle all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy at quadlock.com/privacy and in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable data protection laws in your country of residence, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 where applicable.

By entering, you acknowledge that your Instagram username, submitted content, and (if you are a Finalist or winner) your first name and country of residence may be published by the Sponsor to announce the Finalists and the winner and to promote the Contest. You may object to this by contacting events@quadlock.com.au, however objecting may result in the Sponsor being unable to include your entry in the Finalist selection or public vote.
11. Complaints
Any complaints about this Contest must be submitted in writing to events@quadlock.com.au within ninety (90) days of the end of the Contest Period. Complaints received after this deadline will not be considered.
